SCHUFA gives out information on the credit worthiness of individual clients to commercial organisations. The companies requesting information are business partners of SCHUFA and are concerned with distributing credit in the form of financial loans or in actual goods to new customers. SCHUFA‘s partners consist of merchant banks, retail banks, co-operative banks, savings banks, building societies, credit card firms and leasing companies, retailers and mail order companies, telecommunications companies, insurance firms, housing industry companies, utility companies and e-Commerce businesses among others. |
